About psoriasis
Psoriasis on specific skin sites

Psoriasis can occur on any part of the body. Psoriasis sometimes appears on the eyelids, ears, mouth and lips, as well as on skin folds, the hands and feet, and nails. The type of skin at each of these sites is different and requires different treatments. For example, the skin on the face is very different from the thicker, rougher skin of the elbow. In addition, psoriasis can vary widely among individuals and in its response to treatment. However, effective treatments are available. Because of the increased sensitivity for these areas, it is important to work with your doctor to find an appropriate treament regimen that works for you.
